Why I built this

I was job hunting in remote tech, and every tool failed the same way. LinkedIn alerts sent me US-only roles I legally could not take. Job boards showed the same 50 postings wrapped in noise. Auto-apply tools wanted to spam my name across 500 companies.

So I built my own pipeline. Every night it scanned more than 12,000 postings from hundreds of career sites and ATS boards, filtered them against my real constraints, and every morning it handed me a ranked shortlist with a reason for every match. My search went from two hours of scrolling a day to a five minute read over coffee.

Friends started asking to run it for their profiles. RemoteScan is that pipeline, productized: the same honest, read-only scan, tuned to your profile instead of mine.

How is this different from LinkedIn or Indeed alerts?

Alerts match keywords. We match constraints. RemoteScan filters on the things that actually disqualify a role for you: timezone requirements, residency locks, language requirements, seniority. Then it ranks what remains and tells you why each job fits. A keyword alert sends you 80 jobs, most of which you cannot take. We send you the ones you can.

Is the free plan really free?

Do you auto-apply to jobs for me?

No, and that is deliberate. Mass auto-apply tools get flagged by recruiters and ATS spam filters, and you only get one first impression per company. RemoteScan is read-only by design: we find and rank, you decide where to apply, with a suggested angle for each application.

Where do the jobs come from?

Every night we scan more than 12,000 postings from public company career sites, applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and others), remote job boards and job APIs. Everything is deduplicated, so the same role from three sources appears once.

Do you connect to my LinkedIn account?

No. We never ask for your LinkedIn login and never automate anything on your accounts. You upload your resume, and optionally your LinkedIn profile PDF export, which you download yourself. That is all we need to build your matching profile.

What happens to my resume and data?

Your resume is used solely to build your matching profile. We do not sell or share your data, and you can request full deletion at any time with one email. Details in our privacy policy.

Which roles and regions do you cover?

Remote-first tech roles: engineering, product, design, marketing, community, growth, operations, support and more. Companies hiring remotely in the EU, EMEA, APAC, the Americas or worldwide. During onboarding you define your regions, timezones and languages, and we filter accordingly.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Subscriptions run through Stripe and you can cancel from the customer portal in two clicks. You keep access until the end of the billing period.
